Henderson County, Illinois

Henderson County is located in West Central Illinois. It is named for Richard Henderson, an early American Pioneer.
The seat and largest city are Oquawka. The county is bordered by the Mississippi River.
Henderson County borders Mercer, Warren, McDonough and Hancock Counties in Illinois, along with Lee and Des Moines Counties in Iowa.
Main highways through the county include US-34, IL-94, IL-96, IL-116 and IL-164.
